First Day of First Grade

It's hard to believe that Grant is in first grade! He is at school now longer than he is at home awake! Grady asked me, "When are we going to pick up Grant?" several times throughout the day. Or he would ask, "Where is Grant?" I think Grady missed his brother a lot as he was just pretty quiet all day! Gerald and I missed him the most during lunch because we always eat all together, but someone was missing! The day seemed long for all of us, but Grant told us when he got home that the day went by very quickly! He had a great day!! We're so glad that he got a great teacher and he has some friends in his class! We are praying for a great year for our big guy!!

All ready to go!
Such a handsome boy!

I can't believe how tall he is getting!

Grady had his "laptop" all ready to go with Gerald to the office for an hour. This is his serious business face! HA!

Look at you, hot mama, with your jean skirt! So glad that Grancy Nancy had a great first day at school. He looked so cute in his orange shirt getting on the bus! I totally love Gilly's outfit, too, and how sweet Grady looks in that picture on the porch!

I agree with Joanna...My first thought was She looks really cute!

So glad Grant had a wonderful day..I bet he becomes the star of the show!

Love Gillian's boots :) Sophia wants a pair that is at Target and her mean mommy won't buy them until it is closer to fall.

I can't believe Grant is in first grade already! By the way, you guys start school early over there in Hoosier land. Enjoy this year with him. As you know from being a fellow former first grade teacher, this year is such a fun year to watch them grow!

I have obviously been horrible about commenting to blogs lately, and since I talk to you sometimes multiple times a day, sometimes I feel like I've told you everything already! But, everyone loves a comment on their blog...so, I'm super glad the transition to 1st grade has gone smoothly. I know that can be a rough one. And your pics are adorable. Everyone looks beautiful!
