Tennessee - Part 2

We had a great time in Tennessee and wanted to post some more photos of our vacation. We've been home for a few days, but life has been crazy trying to get our house prepared for painting and tiling, going to two meetings for Grant's school, mowing the yard, and unpacking.... Gretchen and I are exhausted. Oh yeah, and we have to take care of our three kids too.

We're not complaining, we're just letting everyone know that the blog had to suffer for a few days. We know that we have lots of fans that just can't wait to eat up every word on this site (ha, ha, ha)... so for all of you out there, we apologize for the delay and Starbucks Gift cards are in the mail to make up for our slacking. However, if your card gets lost or stolen you'll need to call your local post office to see why it wasn't delivered.

Gilli loved the Black Bear Jamboree. We gave her a whole bowl of green beans and she downed the whole thing and managed to clap and sing-a-long with the music. She loved it. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa.

Grady loved being on stage at the Black Bear Jamboree until he realized he was on stage and then he kind of freaked out.
Grady loves his mama!
And Daddy loves his Gilli!
Grant, Grady, Gretchen and I went on an adventure on inter-tubes down a river. We had a blast.
Gretchen and the boys show off that they are River Rats.
Grant enjoyed God's nature for the second time on this trip by traversing the rocks in a river.
Grady admires God's creation. He loved climbing but he was scared to death when he occupied the same rock as a Daddy-Long-Leg spider. In his defense it was huge!
Gilli and Gretchen stayed out of the river but enjoyed the gravel rocks just as much.  Gillian filled Gretchen's hands with the tiny pebbles!
Aren't we adventurous.
In Gatlinburg, we rode the Ober tram above the trees and up the mountain to a recreational area where we had the opportunity to see six black bears.
