We Made it 8 Years!!

Today is the 8 year anniversary of our wedding! I can't believe it has been 8 years! We have now been married the same number of years we dated! :) That sounds funny doesn't it, but when you start "going together" in 7th grade and only break up for one year, it makes a long time of dating!! Gerald is still my best friend and now so much more! He is the father of my children, my encourager, and love of my life! I can't wait to spend another 8 years and more together!!!

We dropped off the kids last night at their Aunt Heidi and Uncle Andrew's house to spend the night! They have a wonderful time there and were ready for mom and dad to leave right away! We headed to Mitchell's Fish Market! It was delicious and even better that it was paid for with a gift card that we received for walking through a model home in the area! Thanks Estridge Home Builders! Then we rented a movie from the Red Box! You gotta love the $1.00 movies! It was SO relaxing, and Gerald commented that it felt like we were dating again. I think that being able to come home after a date and not have to put kids to bed or even check on them made a huge difference! We were even able to sleep in a little and take our time getting ready in the morning! Thank you so much Heidi and Andrew! We will return the favor someday!!
