Grant Lost His First Tooth

Grant finally lost that tooth! We were laying in bed this morning watching cartoons, and he yelled out, "My tooth fell out!" He was so excited to have this finally happen! I still can't believe my four year old lost a tooth and has another one loose!! He is very excited to have the Tooth Fairy come! We put his tooth in the special pillow I bought when he was only two years old(yes, that is crazy planning!!). He was all smiles when we left his room for the night!! He called me back in right after I put him to bed, though, because he was concerned that with the way Grady stays up at night, the Tooth Fairy would not have an opportunity to come. I assured him that since Grady did not have a nap, he would be asleep in no time, and the Tooth Fairy would surely come sometime in the night. I thought it was funny that he was worried about that, but for those of you who know how serious Grant is, it was no surprise! So, Grant is on his way to becoming an adult now as he starts to grow his adult teeth! :)

As a side note... Grant had some serious questions about the Tooth Fairy! He just couldn't figure out how she got into the house since she doesn't come down the fireplace like Santa. :) So, he asked Gerald if the Tooth Fairy was real, and Gerald was honest with him. Don't worry, Grant wasn't disappointed!! He is excited about his dollar bill and piece of candy!
