Two days ago marked 8 months on the wait list, and I didn't even give it a thought... probably because we still aren't on the brink of a referral! In two weeks I will start updating our home study. I think I will pretend that we just started! Maybe it will make it more fun! ;) So, guess what?!!! We are adopting from Ethiopia!!

I could be blogging, but instead I do laundry, homework with the kids, make meals, carpool the kids here and there, check our agency wait list like a crazy person, and go to meetings. I do anything but blog. Why? I'm not sure. I'm just not feeling it right now.
At some point, I will be working on a new blog that will encompass our whole family because hopefully at some point this year we won't be the gfivefam anymore!! My goal is to have that up by Spring.
My goal for tomorrow..... an antique store while all of my children are at school! See, I could be blogging! I have time! But don't check back anytime too soon! HA!

Blogging is definitely low-priority when you're a busy mama of 3, so you get a hall pass. I'm sorry the wait time has turned out to be longer than expected. Although we know it's par for the course, it doesn't make it any easier when you start to get close to meeting your little baby for the first time. But 2011 is the YEAR you will complete your family, and Gia will be home and in your arms. I love you!

I hate that you guys are in that limbo land that we all know in adoption. The waiting is just SO hard. I'm praying for sweet Gia and can't wait to see her sweet little face in your arms.

I have such a love/hate relationship with blogging, but what it's come down to for me is about once a month, I take the plunge and update it. Every once in awhile I sneak another post in. So glad that a few people still read it! Whenever you decide to post, I'll be here waiting. :-) Congrats on your "new" decision to adopt. Wink. I hope you will need to change the title of your blog soon, my fingers and toes are crossed for you!!!

i am so sorry the wait has been so long. . . waiting is so hard. . i stalked my computer the whole time. it was all i could think about. praying the referral happens SOON! thinking of your family and so inspired you are adopting again i love it!
