And the roller coaster begins...

We just received an email from our adoption agency and a new policy has been set in place. Those adopting from Ethiopia are now required to travel twice. We are now required to travel for the court date and be in Ethiopia for 5 days. Then we will travel approximately 6 weeks later to pick our child up and be in country 10 days. Many other countries require this kind of travel, so it is not surprising. We are just hoping for no more surprises from a country that for so long has had a pretty seamless process. We are hoping and praying that this in not the first of many changes. And so the roller coaster begins!

...and so it begins. :) I'm glad we got to chat about it over the phone. You have such a healthy attitude about it all, and so now we just keep praying that Baby G finds her way home soon! Lots of love!

Yes, let the ride begin! But, however curvy the road may be, it will lead you directly to your sweet girl.

Hi, I'm Karen from WI. Congrats on adopting from ET. SOOO happy for you. My husband and I where with Russia and after a year things didn't work out and we changed to Africa. WE ARE SOOOO EXCITED. We are about to get our referral call ANYDAY!!! For 2 kiddos mind you!!! We started out as number 9 the end of Dec and now ANY day we are getting a call. We are not happy about the news of travel changes for many reasons but right now I'm trying NOT to think about that. Well, I'm looking forward to following your adoption...Congrats Again...YAY!!
