We headed out to the apple orchard a couple weeks ago when it was still warm outside. It was a beautiful day for apple picking!
The boys each got a wagon and were ready to go! Grady insists on having some type of crazy look on his face for pictures now! Crazy kid!

Before Grant could find any apples, he found this ORANGE butterfly! The ORANGE obsession is still running strong! It was a beautiful butterfly!!

Grant, picking his first few apples

Grady gets some assistance from dad because he saw that the best apples were at the top of the tree!

Monkey See, Monkey Do... Gilli has to do everything the brothers do!

Do you see my crazy husband in the tree?

And Gilli, of course, wants to try hiding in the tree with daddy too!

The girl is determined! She pulled the wagon around even though it was heavy for her!

And then she enjoyed a ride when she got tired!

The entire time we were at the orchard, Grant wanted to pick an apple from the trees that were blocked off and weren't ready for picking yet. By the end, he made his way over and picked a forbidden apple. This is the guilty grin! I reminded him of a story he knows very well, Adam and Eve.

What a great day! I can't wait to go pick apples...it is such a fun way to spend a fall day!
Precious to the core! (no pun intended). It took me forever to spot Gerald in the tree. Thought it was a bird or something. So funny! Looks like a great day!
How fun! We have wanted to go to the apple orchard around here, but it has suddenly turned SOOO cold..
Fun family memories! And way to tie in a bible story:)
