Happy Birthday to Grant

Grant turned 6 years old this past Sunday!  We woke up to snow, which was so exciting for the boys.  I told Grant that God gave him snow for his birthday, and he thought that was great!  The very cold weather took Gerald and I back to the day he was born.  Gerald remembered the cold day because he spent so much time outside the hospital making phone calls to family.  I just remember trying to push out a 9 lb. 10 ounce baby with a very large head!!  :)  And now our baby is 6 years old who loves art work, puzzles, legos, cows, and tractors!  He is a sensitive, loving, smart, and strong willed young man.  He keeps us on our toes with big questions and BIG ideas!  We are so proud of our little man who loves the Lord at such a young age!!

We celebrated his birthday at Chuck E. Cheese.  He celebrated with a couple friends and cousins.  Everyone had so much fun!!

6 YEARS OLD!!!

Gillian enjoyed some chocolate cake with Aunt Bethany...

and some white cake with Daddy!  That's my girl!  I had some of both too! ;)

And a big THANK YOU to my friend Heather... She knows Grant's love of cows and showed him an ad of this light up lawn cow.  He came home from her house requesting this cow for his birthday.  It was the only thing he asked for this year.  So, here is Grant with his favorite gift.  Oh man, we must love this kid a LOT to buy him a lawn cow!!  Doesn't EVERYONE want a light up cow in front of their home/duplex during Christmas?!!
