The picture doesn't show it, but we are very excited to have Gillian with us!
We had an emotional but great time with the foster family tonight! It is an understatement to say they are a blessing! As we sat with them tonight, I thought to myself, God picked the perfect foster family to be with Gillian! The foster mom answered so many of our questions about Gillian's first few days. She has been with her since she was less than a day old! They have a very tight bond! I know Gillian will miss her and the rest of the family! We will see them one last time on Monday so we can give them their gifts. The gifts are in the lost luggage. :( Keep praying that the luggage arrives tonight!

So glad you are there! Praying for the luggage, that is such a bummer. Foster families are amazing in what they give to our children. Will also pray for a smooth transition for everyone's heart.

I've been a blog stalker tonight. :) I am so glad to see you with Gillian. I am sure it was a very emotionally filled night. And especially with your luggage not there yet, that adds some extra stress to the situation. Praying that you get a restful night of sleep and that the luggage arrives. I love how Gillian is holding onto your fingers while she is drinking her bottle.

I am so happy for you that your pick up trip is finally here!!! Gillian looks so happy and content with her mommy. I love how she is holding your fingers.

Ahhh, you both look tired. . . praying today is more restful and hoping for more updates (especially pix--she looks like such a BIG girl).
