I never make New Year's Resolutions! I don't like setting myself up for failure! ;) And, if I want to make a goal for myself, I can do it anytime of the year I want! But, this year I am making a resolution. I am going to worry less and trust God more.
Matthew 6:25-27 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
With so much uncertainty, starting with this very date, in Guatemalan adoptions, I could sit and worry about when and if Gillian is going to come home. But, my worrying will not be helping anything or anyone. Gillian is God's child first and foremost! He loves her and wants the best for her! He will bring her home when it is time!

What a great resolution. I need to work on this too!! I am fighting it. Maybe we can do this together!!
Great resolution... I think a lot of us appreciate this notion. Now, if we can hold ourselves to it!!
