Getting Older=Losing Teeth

Yes, I turned 30 this weekend!! But no, I am not losing my teeth yet!! :) To celebrate my birthday on Saturday we ate lunch at Puccini's, one of our favorite places to eat as a family. Grant has been complaining about his teeth hurting for the past week. Eating pizza made it hurt worse, so Gerald checked his teeth. Much to our amazement, Grant's bottom front tooth was VERY loose. It was more than I could handle, and I started to tear up. My 4 year old will lose a tooth any day now, and I am officially 30! I know it sounds crazy, but I felt like my life was suddenly moving way too fast! My kiddos are growing up, and I have reached the age where no one calls you young anymore. Don't worry... I have a grip on all of it now, and life is good! I will post a picture as soon as Grant loses that tooth! He is babying it, so it could take longer than one might think!!

Gretchen,
Happy Birthday! I never thought turning 30 would bother me but Ben and I will turn 30 later this year and it is kind of a strange to know that we will not be in "our twenties" anymore. But, I guess the fact that I have 3 kids and am driving them around in a minivan kind of throws me out of the "20's" category anyway. :) I can't believe Grant is about to lose a tooth. Lane doesn't have any loose teeth yet. Anyway, I love reading the new blog. Call me when you get your referral!!!
