First Post

Yes, we are starting a blog. I(Gretchen) am not that good at sharing my ideas in writing, and I'm certainly not one to let others read my daily thoughts. But I want to share things that my children are doing, mostly so that I can remember it down the road. I am already forgetting so much of what Grant and Grady did in their first few years. We have tried to journal since Grant was born, but haven't written in it as much as we thought we would. So, hopefully through this blog, Gerald and I can record fun things that Grant and Grady are doing. They are crazy, fun guys, so I am sure their stories will be FUN!!

We also want to blog about our newest addition to the family... Gillian Claire. She should be arriving sometime within the next 7 weeks or less(hopefully less!!). We are adopting a baby girl from Guatemala and are hoping to receive our referral within that time frame. We will post pictures when we get them! We are so excited to meet her. After we receive her referral we will be going through the long international adoption process. We are praying that we can bring her home to the US by next spring. Then she can join our zoo! :) Please pray for Gillian's birth mom as she makes one of the hardest decisions she will ever make. We are so thankful for her and we pray that she knows how much we love Gillian already. Please also pray that the adoption process will go smoothly! Thanks in advance for your prayers!
