Grant's Birthday this year was spent at an arcade/pizza place with several friends and a couple of cousins. We didn't get great pictures or too many pictures as it is difficult to keep track of several boys running around an arcade. But, they had a great time!!

I love this collage... Are they brothers or what?!! As Grant opened his presents, he and Grady had the same reactions! What is it? Oh wow! So excited!
Grant had a basketball cake NOT made by me! Oh the joy of having a party NOT at our house with a cake I DIDN'T make! HA! ;)
Grandpa and grandma had a cake for Grant on Thanksgiving Day. A tractor cake at the farm! Very appropriate! :) He loved it!
On his actual birthday, we had family over for lasagna. Aunt Heidi made ice cream cookies per Grant's request. He LOVES them, but what's not to love?!! I am pretty sure he has her wrapped around his "not so little anymore" finger! :)
We love you, Grant Caden! You are determined and passionate! You LOVE art work and your art teacher loves you! Your art work made it into the yearbook this year! You LOVE church and you enjoy working with the little ones this year during second service. This year you started mowing the lawn and shoveling the snow off the driveway. You work HARD! We know that you can do anything that you set your mind on. Our prayer for you this year is that you, "Set your mind on things above." You love the Lord, Grant, and we are so very grateful that you are walking with Him!

You almost had me in a panic moment because I thought I was losing my mind...but I'm glad you posted it NOW before you buried it back in November because I love seeing pics of Grant's big 8th birthday. He really is the neatest kiddo. And even though the "oldest" tend to challenge us the most, they are also incredibly special. Grant, you know Auntie Jo Jo loves you muchos.

Oh how I love this nephew of mine!!! I can't believe he is 8!!! It just doesn't seem right, does it!? He is so incredibly special in so many ways! Grant, always thank God for the boy he has made you into, because you are awesome!:)
