On Monday, July 14th, Gretchen celebrated her 31st birthday. We had a great day celebrating with her by going to her favorite breakfast spot, the Original Pancake House. Next, we offered to take her to the zoo, but she thought it would be too hot, which we all agreed, so we took her to see Wall-E. She was such a good sport about going to see Wall-E. The movie was great, but just spending time with mom on her special day was what we enjoyed the most. Finally, we were treated to Olive Garden by her parents (Nani and Papa) for dinner. Gretchen is such a blessing to all of us.... we love you!

Grant and Grady had a great time making moms cake... I mean licking the icing.
Grant loves to be creative and wanted to make flowers on the cake. He did a great job and mom was surprised and impressed.
Along with licking the spatula, Grady added the balloon candles to the cake.
Gillian enjoyed Olive Garden with mom on her birthday.
