Trip to California

For work, I (Gerald) traveled to the San Francisco Bay Area to the 2008 Google I/O conference. I had the opportunity to take Grant along with me because our friends Jeremy, Lynn and Abigail live in the area. I want to thank those guys for taking Grant to the zoo and park while I was at the conference. When I wasn't at the conference Grant and I hung out and visited many sites. We had a wonderful time and grew closer to each other. I'm looking forward to taking Grady "monster" next year.

Grant loved the pine cone as big as his head
The view atop Mount Diablo
Notice the sign says "Grant's Zebra"
Running the canon from a WWII ship.
Grant enjoyed the gigantic cargo ships that entered the bay
The Ghirardelli factory was a big hit
Huge trees at Muir Woods reminded Grant of the Ewoks in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
Catching some waves at Muir Beach
The very famous, but chilly view of the Golden Gate Bridge.
