Random Happenings

It has been crazy and busy around our house lately!  First of all, Gillian turned 8 months old on April 4th.  She is so happy as she waves, claps, and plays!  It seems that no one can get enough of this little girl!  Everyone loves to love on Gilli, and she takes it all in so joyfully!
Gerald's family celebrated Easter the weekend after Easter, and they also had a little shower for Gilli!  She received more beautiful clothes!  She is certainly set for this summer!!  This little brown outfit was picked out by Aunt Amber!  Thank you!  It fits her perfectly!!
Grant and Gillian have a special bond!  Look at those brown eyed babies!  I love them so much!!

Very random, but taking up a lot of time at our house...  A duck decided that our front porch would be a great place to lay some eggs!  So, if you are visiting, call, and we will open up the garage!  :)  Stay clear of the front door!!  We are taking this duck's job very seriously!!  We are hoping to see some baby ducks very soon!!  Standby....

Today, Grant finally learned to start himself on his bike and turn!!  If you remember, Gerald posted Grant's big crash last year.  Well, mentally, Grant had a difficult time getting over that crash and had been a little too cautious ever since.  But, as of today he is riding up and down the street!  Good job, buddy!  Look how proud he is...
Grady got a blue bike-uh-cicle for Christmas and he LOVES it!!!  He will ride his bike for an hour.  Bike-uh-cicle is how Grady pronounces bicycle.  I hope he always calls it that!  I love it!!
Look at those big blues!  He is at such a cute age!!  This little guy gives out the best hugs and "I love you!"
In not so fun news, I fell earlier this week when I went to sit down in a chair that had been moved.  I guess my little guy needed the chair to get something out of the cabinet, and I was multitasking and didn't realize it was gone.  When I went to sit down, I landed on my tailbone.  I should have caught myself, but I didn't want to spill the milk I was holding. :) But I ended up hurting myself and spilling the milk too!  I felt pretty silly as Gerald walked into the kitchen from the garage after hearing me scream.  I was laying on the floor, writhing in pain, laying in milk.  Luckily, I have no pictures to post of this fun event!  Thankfully, my mom has been to the rescue this week because I can barely lift my little girl!  I can't complain, though!  My body is feeling better everyday, and I am amazed at how God made us!

Gerald & Gretchen,
What a beautiful family!!
My mom saw your mom, Gretchen, and she gave her your blog address--so mom passed it on to me.
What a wonderful testament to God's love and blessings your story is. Thank you for sharing it.
It sounds as if you are truly experiencing each day with joy--may today be no different!
What three beautiful children to delight in together!
Blessings to you all!
