Easter Weekend

Easter weekend was a little different for us this year! We started off Saturday morning by cleaning the carpets. Grant, Grady, and I were all sick this past week and one of us didn't get our yuck in a bucket! I won't mention any names, Grant! ;) This momma didn't handle having her bed, carpet, and pillows yacked on, and so the patience grows! Thankfully by Easter we were over the yacking, and then Gillian, Grady and I were moving on to head colds! FUN, FUN! Despite the sicknesses, we had a great Easter with family. It was so fun to dress Gillian up in her Easter dress! Easter for us this year was reflecting on our Lord bringing our sweet girl home and the most awesome sacrifice ever... Jesus died on a cross for our sins! HUMBLING!! Our Lord is risen indeed, and so we celebrate Easter and new beginnings!

Gerald, cleaning the carpets The Easter Bunny visited our house! Grant and Grady got microphones and Cars the Movie cars. Gillian got some cheerios! :)

Sweet Girl!

All ready for church and looking very handsome and pretty!

Oh, Grady! He is always so silly!

My family had a very fun shower for Gillian after Easter lunch! Isn't the table beautiful?!!

My very talented mom, put this butterfly cake together! So pretty and fun!

Gillian got her first car! Watch out!!
We are so blessed to have so many people who love Gillian so much! She was showered with lots of fun gifts. She received lots of clothes, bath towels, wash cloths, lotion, and toys! Thank you Nani, Papa, aunts, uncles, and cousins!!

Your kids are so darling. We have been sick around our house also, but I did not have such a good attitude on Easter. Gillian's face is so adorable and her hair is to die for! I love the butterfly cake. I might have to copy that one. Isn't it fun dressing up a baby girl for Easter:)

What a special Easter.... minus the "icks". Gillian looks so happy and settled and the boys seem like very proud big brothers. The shower was such a nice idea. I also may have to borrow that cupcake butterfly idea for Lucy's bday! So happy for you all.

Grateful, grateful, grateful for your prayers! What can I say? I am feeling SO blessed that you are lifting Isabella up in prayer and asking the Lord for our OUT!

I am so glad you are all feeling better. I keep thinking about those beautiful cupcakes, too. They look so good. I am CRAVING them- seriously!
