30 Minutes on the Jet Ski - by Gerald

Whenever I come to Florida, I always have to drop some cash and ride the jet skis. I love riding through the water as fast as I can and jump the waves. However, this time was different and it was 10 times better. I noticed that on the waiver form that I could have minors riding with me. I asked if a 3 and 5 year old would be eligible to ride... and to my delight, they said "yes". I ran down the beach and told the boys, "come on boys, we're going for a ride."

The formation of us riding on the jet ski was Grady in front, Grant in the middle and myself in the back. We headed out and both boys were ecstatic to be riding a jet ski in the ocean. I was told by my oldest to "be careful dad" and "don't go too fast". I rode around cautiously and jumped a few waves to the sounds of "wahoo" and "this is awesome." After about 10 minutes Grady decided he was tired of getting blasted with salt water in his face. Nonetheless, he had a blast. So, I idled the jet ski into the shoreline and dropped him off. Grant and I rode back out to the ocean and opened up the throttle and jumped multiple waves. Grant had the time of his life, but while riding into the wind, Grant too got tired of being blasted with salt water. Our 30 minutes went by quickly and we had to idle back to the shoreline. Both boys enjoyed the experience and I think it will be a Florida tradition whenever we come back. Maybe i'll take Gilllian next year... Just kidding!

Grady in the front.
Grant in the middle.
Just FYI: I was required by the Head 'G' to add The "by Gerald" in the title of this posting.

Sounds like fun! This immediately conjured up images of little Grady on the go carts at Pigeon Forge. Ha!
