PGN Kick Out Explanation

I talked to my coordinator, Amanda, this morning about our previo(kick out). She said that the social worker in Guatemala typed in the wrong place of birth for Gillian in her report. Normally this would be a quick fix, but the social worker is on vacation. She won't be back until the 14th. Amanda said that if we are really lucky we could get back in PGN that day, but realistically we are looking at December 17th. What a huge bummer!! We just lost one entire month of time with Gillian. We do have peace, knowing that she is getting such great care!! God is teaching me lots of patience and trust right now. Gillian will come home in God's perfect timing! Thank you all for praying for us!! We had a great trip! We will try to post more pictures and video soon!

Oh how frustrating! Hang in there...1 month seems like an eternity in this process. I know God is trying to teach me patience too...but I think I'm failing miserably! Hang in there!

Oh, Gretchen... So sorry to hear that. I agree with Gretchen W. - I'm not doing to well with this whole patience bit. Hoping a quick out after your resubmit!

Oh my gosh, Gretch...I'm so sorry. I know how you're feeling right now, and want to just scoop you up and give you big hugs. I can't believe the social worker is on vacation - how dare her!! Luckily December goes fast and you'll be back in PGN before you know it - and definitely out even sooner. With your lawyer's timelines, you can still have your New Year's O-U-T! I loved traveling with you and Gerald, and hope you will forgive the Westin so we can all stay together again. Ha ha!

XOXO

Oh, I can imagine how frustrating that was to hear....but, there is a very good chance you will have a short stay when you get resubmitted. Hang in there and so glad you had a wonderful visit trip! :-)
