You guys are great!!

So, I posted yesterday and asked for prayers to get our DNA quickly and bam, we have it in the mailbox today! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for praying for us! I have no doubt that your prayers made a difference! I just needed something to give me some hope, and the DNA results provided that! They are a match!!! I am overwhelmed with excitement!! Yipee!! I do have some mixed emotions going on, though. With the DNA results, we received a picture of Gillian with her birth mother holding her. She looks at peace with her decision. I am so thankful to her!! It makes me sad, knowing that is the last time Gillian with be will her birth mother. WOW, they look just alike! Gillian's birth mother is BEAUTIFUL!!

It is even more a blessing that we got our results today since Gerald booked our flight and hotel for a visit trip! Last night we weren't sure if we were going to visit at all, and this morning Gerald announced that he was going down to see his daughter! I, of course, can't let him go without me!! So, we will be leaving very soon to meet our precious daughter for the first time!

What a roller coaster of emotions this week! I have never been this up and down in my life! Today is a new day full of promise and hope!
